Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Who provides the Service

Kolibrí is operated by Lucas Ezequiel Riera, based in Spain. For any legal inquiry, you can write to hola@kolibriacademy.xyz.

2. What Kolibrí is

Kolibrí is an online AI school for beginners. The introductory course "First Steps with AI" is free and complete, no card required. The other courses in the catalog require a Kolibrí Pro plan (subscription), an individual course purchase, or Kolibrí Bootcamp (one-time payment, currently paused), as published at kolibriacademy.xyz/precios.

Certificates issued by Kolibrí certify completion of practical work within the school — they are not an official degree, a university diploma, or a government accreditation.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Let us know as soon as you suspect unauthorized use.

A single student may not hold more than one account with simultaneous access — the Service is for personal use, non-transferable, and not for sharing credentials with others.

4. Plans, pricing, and payments

Current prices are always published at /precios. Kolibrí Pro is a monthly or annual subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it; Kolibrí Bootcamp is a one-time payment.

Payments are processed through Stripe. Kolibrí never stores your full card number.

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account or by writing to us; you'll keep access until the end of the period already paid for, with no pro-rated refund for unused time.

For Kolibrí Bootcamp, we offer a full refund if requested within 7 days of purchase and you haven't accessed more than 20% of the Bootcamp content. After that window, the payment is non-refundable.

If you're a resident of the European Union: by starting to use paid content right after payment, you expressly agree to waive the 14-day withdrawal right that applies to online purchases, to the extent permitted by Directive 2011/83/EU — you still keep the Bootcamp refund right described above.

5. Intellectual property

All lesson content (text, video, exercises) is owned by Kolibrí or its licensors. You may use it for your personal learning; you may not redistribute, resell, or republish it on another platform without written permission.

Projects you build during the course are yours — Kolibrí claims no rights over your work.

6. Acceptable use

Not allowed: sharing your account with others, attempting to access content from levels you haven't paid for, using the Service for illegal activities, or attempting to compromise the platform's security.

7. Limitation of liability

Kolibrí is provided "as is". We make our best effort to keep the Service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, Kolibrí is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email before it takes effect.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to any consumer-protection rights that the laws of your country of residence grant you on a mandatory basis (for example, if you reside in Latin America or the United States).
